I’m on to my fifth reading of the Bible after going back to church in 2008. My favorite books of the Bible are Isaiah (OT) and Romans (NT).
I studied communication arts in one building of an elite university while crossing over to the next building to study legal management in the same year. My major: theater. I graduated 6 years after. I didn’t know there was a limit to learning.
I head the tech ministry in our church. My armpits would perspire while wiring, sound-checking, and mixing as I wear girly dresses and high heels during church events.
I like traveling alone. Crowd makes me go bonkers. I prefer one companion, if given no choice, but the security of a group offering me greater transpo discount is welcome.
I speak French (badly). I write Hebrew (badly). I know Tagalog well and use it well. I think my English is so-so.
I read poems because they’re short (except the epic ones). I read short stories because they’re shorter than novels. I read novels when I have no choice left - and often I make excuses so I have no choices left.
I like colors. I say it all the time, but the colors don’t combine well in front of me. I don’t know if pink does not go well with green. It shows in my fashion sense, so just to be safe, I wear browns and blacks often.
I learned anything Adobe (Photoshop, Premier, GoLive, (Dreamweaver) After Effects, Audition, from college. I learned them all except Flash, when Flash was still under Macromedia. Now, I’m learning it. I also know Lightroom and Corel Draw (super old version).
I think I know photography. It’s easy. Just click something on top of the camera and shoot. Good photography? You be the judge.
I like exercising my legs and arms, but stopped running in the morning because I started preferring sleep over it.
I like window-shopping (backpacks and books).
I used to be a layout artist for a small printing corporation and became a corporate trainer in a multinational marketing arm. I write, edit and layout for a local charity magazine in our area. I love my laptop.
I play the guitar and synthesizer. If I play them well, I don’t know. I want to learn how to use the turntable.
I am currently writing articles for companies in a business magazine in Hong Kong and Singapore. In-between that, I call people up to advertise for us.
I am a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Cool.
Shorter version about.me/nikkitacata.
